This is quite the difficult influence this week. The 9 of Swords is mental anguish, delays, and dissapointments. This is not the greatest I know but, I feel this card is a warning on how we keep our mental state of being. Swords do relate to our mental state and in this depiction we can see that something is keeping this person awake through the night. Are you one who tends to over think things?
My first feeling when I saw this card pop up for us is that we need to learn when to let things go. We need to be better about putting things to rest so that we ourselves can also rest. Our minds are very powerful tools and we can heal or harm with the thoughts we carry. Sometimes we hold onto things too long and need to surrender to the flow, especially when it comes to things we can not change. If we can not change it that's ok, we can change the way we view, it.
My advice to help ease the mental stress is to meditate and utilize breathing exercises that help calm the mind and body. We have to live with ourselves. We have to live with our thoughts and actions. We don't do ourselves any justice loosing sleep over things. Like the saying goes...just sleep on it... sleeping on a concern can give a fresh perspective the next morning. Plus, our guides can speak to us more clearly in our dreams!
Try to find an evening routine that helps you ease into a great nights rest. I find a cup of tea and some relaxing music really helps ease the mind and body. We can journal as well, to help clear the mind before bed. Our overall health of mind, body and spirit is top priority. Again, we live with ourselves, make it a great place to be♡
